Welcome to
PlantBio 2012,
the First National Plant Biology Conference
Oslo, 17-18 October 2012

We cordially invite you to attend the first national plant biology conference in Oslo on October 17-18, 2012. The scope of the meeting is to create a recurring meeting place for all branches (aspects) of plant biology research. The conference has been organized by the Norwegian National Network for Plant Biology Research, a network representing all universities and relevant research institutes in Norway. The first day focuses on the challenges for green biology in the near future followed by four workshops (two and two parallel) with the following themes: Climate change – effects on natural and agro-ecosystems; Plant molecular biology and biotechnology; Evolution and ecology; and Marine and land-based bioproduction. The second day is devoted to presentations by young plant biology scientists and PhD students working at institutions in Norway. This is a continuation of a more than 10 year tradition of ‘Arabidopsis meetings’.

The conference language is English.
